Before you begin your application….
You will be asked to confirm acceptance of the scheme requirements. Please do not complete the form unless you are able to satisfy all the following.
Operate and maintain a Quality Management Systems - MCS Certified appropriate to the size of your business and activities.
Employ or contract a technician with the relevant qualification(s) accepted by MCS*.
Have access to and work in accordance with relevant MCS scheme documents
The following will be required to be uploaded during the application process. Please make sure they are to hand before you start:
1. Photo for ID card
This should be a photo of your head and upper body, saved as a picture file (GIF, JPG or PNG) and not PDF as this is not compatible with the resizing software.
2. Certificate(s) of achievement
We require a copy of the certificate of achievement for every scope you are applying for*. NB we cannot accept the candidate result sheet or an email from the training centre
If you are applying for MCS design, please ensure that the certificates provided also include the design element. If you are unsure, please click here
3. Insurance Information
We require a copy of the insurance relevant to your business and the scope of works undertaken.
*A certificate must be uploaded for each box ticked. If you have a combined certificate you will need to upload it again for each scope.
