The following will be required to be uploaded during the application process. Please make sure they are to hand before you start:

1.    Photo for ID card

This should be a photo of your head and shoulders, saved as a picture file (JPG, PNG or GIF) and not PDF as this is not compatible with the resizing software.

2.    Certificate(s) of achievement

• We require a copy of the certificate of achievement for every scope you are applying for.

• A certificate must be uploaded for each scope selected. If you hold a combined certificate covering multiple scopes, please upload the same certificate for each relevant scope. 

• Please tick each box and upload the relevant certificate as you go. Do not tick all boxes before uploading your certificates, as this will not work.

• Please note: we cannot accept candidate result sheets or emails from training centres.

• If you are applying for MCS Heat Pump Design, you must select this scope separately, as it is treated as a standalone scope under MCS requirements. Certificates submitted for this scope must include the design element. If you are unsure whether your qualification includes Heat Pump Design, please check the MCS training course directory.

• If you will be installing unvented cylinders alongside renewable heating appliances, please select the unvented cylinders scope and upload a copy of the relevant certificate.

3.    Insurance Information

We require a copy of the insurance relevant to your business and the scope of works undertaken.
